چکیده
We show that some types for supercuspidal representations of tamely ramified p-adic groups appear in Jiu-Kang Yu’s work are geometrizable. To do so, we define a function-sheaf dictionary one-dimensional characters arbitrary smooth group schemes over finite fields. In previous considered the case commutative and found standard definition character sheaves produced with nontrivial kernel. this paper give modification category remedies defect, is also extensible to non-commutative groups. then use these geometrize linear introduced by Yu, assuming vanishes on certain derived subgroup. geometric types, combine Gurevich Hadani’s geometrization Weil representation Lusztig’s sheaves.

Types for supercuspidal representations of GL(N)
We recall here the basic definitions needed to construct simple types, with no proofs given of the many claims that we make. For a much more detailed account, see [1] and the many other sources cited therein. Note that most of the statements made here could be proven without much difficulty for the reader who has the time and inclination. Any statements requiring a much more elaborate proof are...
متن کاملRefined Anisotropic K-types and Supercuspidal Representations
Let G be any connected reductive group defined over a nonarchimedean local field F of residual characteristic p. Under some tameness assumptions on G, we construct families of positive-depth supercuspidal representations of G = G(F ). In particular, we classify (§2.7) the representations of G that contain any anisotropic unrefined minimal K-type (in the sense of MoyPrasad [28]) that satisfies a...
متن کاملThe Unicity of Types for Depth-zero Supercuspidal Representations
We establish the unicity of types for depth-zero supercuspidal representations of an arbitrary p-adic group G, showing that each depth-zero supercuspidal representation of G contains a unique conjugacy class of typical representations of maximal compact subgroups of G. As a corollary, we obtain an inertial Langlands correspondence for these representations via the Langlands correspondence of De...
متن کاملSupercuspidal Representations: an Exhaustion Theorem
Let k be a p-adic field of characteristic zero and residue characteristic p. Let G be the group of k-points of a connected reductive group G defined over k. In [38], Yu gives a fairly general construction of supercuspidal representations of G in a certain tame situation. In this paper, subject to some hypotheses on G and k, we prove that all supercuspidal representations arise through his const...

1. Let k be an algebraic closure of a finite field Fq. Let G = GLn(k). The group G(Fq) = GLn(Fq) can be regarded as the fixed point set of the Frobenius map F : G −→ G, (gij) 7→ (g q ij). Let Q̄l be an algebraic closure of the field of l-adic numbers, where l is a prime number invertible in k. The characters of irreducible representations of G(Fq) over an algebraically closed field of characteri...
